Meet Robye! Robye was introduced to the mountain-lake life at 17 by owner, captain, and instructor, Jennifer. She started with wake boarding and was fueled by the adrenaline rush. Her dream, after a lifetime love of the ocean and being mesmerized by waves, was to surf. Living in Jackson, WY, she never thought she’d live out that dream on a mountain lake until Jennifer showed up with a surf board! Instantly, she fell in love with the endless wave to ride. “It blew my mind,” she remembers. After years on the lake encouraging old friends and new, coaching beginners on their first wave or teaching more experienced riders to stomp new tricks, Robye is now 24 and an instructor at Teton Surf Co. She is so passionate about this sport and is looking forward to inspiring others to learn more with each session. We are excited to have such a rad lady as an instructor and a top notch crew member.
Robye is CPR and First Aid certified.
